WWR Welcomes Michelle Shupe-Abbas in Ft. Lauderdale

The Real Estate Default Group (REDG) of Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A., the nation’s largest creditors’ rights law firm based on revenue and placements according to Collections & Credit Risk magazine, is pleased to welcome new associate attorney, Michelle N. Shupe-Abbas.

Michelle Shupe-Abbas will concentrate on foreclosure and litigation services as she joins the REDG Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office. Ms. Shupe-Abbas earned her B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration from the University of South Carolina in 1992, her J.D. cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2001 and her Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2002. A member of the Florida Bar, Ms. Shupe-Abbas is licensed in the state courts of Florida. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts (Middle, Northern & Southern Districts of Florida) and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Shupe-Abbas is a member of the Florida Bar Tax Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. She serves as an Advisory Board Member for Keiser University, is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, and is as a member of the Board of Directors for Yes I Wish Upon a Hero. Michelle has more than ten years of experience including commercial litigation, general litigation matters, probate, and corporate governance and restructuring.
